Your freight invoice is a volume problem.
Ocean freight, warehousing and last-mile delivery are all billed on the space a product occupies. A frame is exactly the part of a sofa that occupies space without ever being touched. Removing it is not a design gesture — it is a cost decision that repeats on every container, every month.
Below is a real K-01. The top bar is what one sofa occupies once it expands in your warehouse. The bottom bar is what you actually pay to move. Both numbers come from the same carton, so you can check them against the specification sheet.

What exactly is a boneless sofa?
A boneless sofa has no wooden or metal frame and no springs. The whole body is a single block of high-resilience foam with an EPP bead comfort layer, wrapped in a removable fabric cover. Because nothing inside is rigid, the sofa can be vacuum-compressed to roughly one fifth of its assembled volume and shipped in a normal carton.
How much does it cost to ship a boneless sofa?
Freight is billed on volume, not weight. A K-01 occupies 1.152 CBM once expanded but only 0.179 CBM as a vacuum-packed carton — 6.4× less space. One 40HQ container takes 349 units of K-01 at shipped volume, against roughly 55 units if the same sofas shipped assembled. Everything downstream — ocean freight, customs duty base, warehouse racking, last-mile delivery — follows that number.
Does a boneless sofa sag or lose its shape?
There are no springs to give out and no frame joints to loosen. The load path is foam-on-floor across the full base, so the seat does not develop a sagging dip the way a small number of spring units under a limited footprint does. Covers are removable and machine washable, and replacement covers plus loose EPP beads are available as after-sales SKUs.
What is the MOQ, and can I mix models in one order?
MOQ is set per model, not per order: 30 pcs on the flagship K-01, 30–30 pcs across the furniture range depending on size. Mixed SKUs are accepted in a single container — that is how most of our first orders ship, so a new importer can test several sizes without committing a full container to one model.
Can you put our own brand on the product and packaging?
Yes — that is the majority of what we ship. Private label covers the woven label, care label, carton print, poly bag, hangtag and instruction sheet. Cover fabric and colour are made to your swatch. Samples with your branding take 7–10 days; bulk production runs 22–30 days depending on model and fabric.
Which certifications do you hold for the export markets?
REACH-compliant fabric, Low-VOC compressible foam, CA TB117-2013 foam option. Documents are issued per order, with the certificate number printed on the commercial invoice so your customs broker can verify them directly. Tell us the destination country and we will confirm which certificates apply before you place the order.
